Victoria Filipova Nankova is a character from Defenders of Earth. She is a Bulgarian criminal who is a member of the Bulgarian Vixens which is later revealed as the Bulgarian branch of the criminal organization known as the Eastern Vixens.
She is a twenty three year old Bulgarian woman with black hair tied in a bun, very fair skin like the skin of fellow Vixen Ivana Manoleva and student Abigail Huntsman and blue eyes. Like the other Vixens shown in King of the East, Victoria's true form is not known but undercover, her attire consists of a navy blue dress, standard coloured tights, a beige overcoat with a belt around her waist, brown boots, black leather gloves and a patterned scarf around her neck.
Unlike most Vixens such as Bogdana Buneva and Ivana Manoleva, Victoria is regarded as a highly arrogant Vixen as shown when she accuses Kalina Zhelyaskova of being rude and not concentrating after she claims to see the figure of a dragon in the sky when Mira Adamova is sent to kill the sergeant that killed Firroth in Stranger of the Past.
She is also shown to be a lot more brazen and assertive if not just as brazen and assertive as other female characters in literature except perhaps Emma Irwin from the Cold War II series but is also easily angered, especially if she feels rushed on the beach of Burgas.
Victoria is one of many Vixens to come to prominence in the story King of the East. She is first shown in the story among the other Bulgarian Vixens who have been forced into hiding thanks to Firroth destroying Bulgaria (although efforts are being made to rebuild it) and despite her temperament, does not complain about being forced undercover.
Her time back to her glory days as well as the glory days of the other Vixens however makes a return when the Vixen leader Stanislava Blagoeva phones another Vixen leader in the form of Yevgenia Agrafena who tells them to go into the dining room where the voice of Yevgenia tells Stanislava to split the Vixens up. First, she selects Alexandra Zhivkova, Borislava Ilseva, Grozdana Ruseva, Tanya Nakova, Miroslava Blagoeva, Tsvetanka Zhelyaskova, Kalina Toncheva, Bilyana Zhelyaskova, Bogomila Gavrilova and Stanimira Zhelyaskova for her group.
Then, she appoints Boyana Strashilova to be her second in command and gives her command of the remaining Vixens:
- Twenty five year old Kalina Stanislavova Dobreva,
- Thirty year old Ivana Atanasova Manoleva,
- Twenty one year old Maria Ognianova Ruseva,
- Twenty nine year old Yordanka Ivailova Buneva,
- Twenty eight year old Nevena Dragomirova Bacheva,
- Twenty six year old Desislava Spasova Mladenova,
- Thirty year old Vladimira Vladimirova Petrovaa,
- Thirty year old Radoslava Ventsislavova Gavrilova,
- Twenty seven year old Mira Yoanova Adamova,
- Thirty year old Katerina Assenova Vankova,
- Twenty nine year old Grozda Petrova Kochanova,
- Twenty six year old Stanislava Petrova Kochanova,
- Twenty one year old Borislava Mihaelova Pramatarova,
- Twenty six year old Nedelya Stanislavova Gavreilova,
- Twenty seven year old Elena Teodorova Georgieva,
- And finally the youngest of the Vixens and the youngest of the Zhelyaskova sisters, twenty year old Kalina Nikolaieva Zhelyaskova.
The Vixens then receive their instructions: Half of the Vixens (the group with Stanislava) will leave Bulgaria immediately via Sofia International Airport while the other half will travel to Burgas, collect the guns left behind by the Army and depart Bulgaria through Burgas Airport. After the instructions, Victoria is sent away to get changed, pack her bags and be ready to leave at a strict 8:30 deadline.
When the time comes, both sections leave. Stanislava's group leaves immediately but while the Vixens were given a strict 8:30 deadline to leave their hideout they were not given a deadline for anything else which is why Boyana's group diverts to the home of the sergeant who killed Firroth.
During her time with Boyana, Victoria becomes known for her highly focused attitude and tries not to put herself forward to kill the sergeant which pays off because Boyana selects Mira Adamova to do the job. Inside the truck, Victoria's attitude becomes revealed when she slaps Kalina Zhelyaskova around the face in an attempt to bring her back to reality and tells her:
"Shut up! May you NOT be so rude?! We're almost as Burgas, so it would help Kalina if you would listen, and concentrate for when we get there!"On the way to Burgas, Victoria slowly becomes doubtful about whether any other dragons still exist and sits with Kalina, Ivana Manoleva and Vladimira Petrovaa to name a few to watch the sky until they reach Burgas at which point, the Vixens are rushed out and hurry to collect all the guns from the Burgas coast. It is also Boyana's worried leadership that irritates Victoria who tells her:
"YOU'RE NOT HELPING!"Vladimira also berates Boyana by telling her that the more she rushes the Vixens, the slower that they are going to go. But their jobs are halted by the sound of a long drawn out roar as well as the appearance of two dragons: Firroth and the "Tyrant of the East".
At first, Victoria believes the flying dragon to be Firroth but Boyana refutes this and tells her that the dragon on the floor in a heap is Firroth while the flying dragon is Tyrath. The Vixens can only watch the two dragons fight, except when Firroth tries to burn his enemy at which point, Boyana has the Vixens go back to work and this time Victoria does not refuse.
Once the guns are loaded, Victoria and the Vixens rush on board their truck and speed off...just as Tyrath is defeated by Firroth and he leaves them alone. Victoria is last seen with the last of her Vixens heading to the Burgas Airport and at the airport, the Lionesses of Turkey get there first and take Boyana Strashilova, forcing the Vixens to leave Bulgaria without Boyana.
Their destination is Russia where they meet the other branches of the whole of the Eastern Vixens who declare war on PHANTOM and also come to learn that there are even more dragons in the world; but the question is, how many are there?
